Our capital, Budapest is the largest and the most populated city in Hungary. The city is divided into two parts by the river Danube. It’s considered one of the most beautiful capital cities in the world due to its natural geography.

There are so many outstanding sights in the city which are worth a visit if you already here. For example, it is famous for its spas, which visit is traditionally a program during Fursang every year.

Budapest is easy to be visited by many known public transport methods for a good price. Even if you prefer travelling by train, airplane, or by bus, we’re sure you’ll find a good solution for the journey! And our motorways are also okay!


The consite from Keleti Railway Station (Keleti Pályaudvar) and Kelenföld Train Station (Kelenföld Vasútállomás) can be accessed by the 8E local bus. From all the other parts of the city it is recommended for you to take the metro, then change to 8E. The bus stops at several metro stations: Keleti Pályaudvar (M2,M4), Ferenciek Tere (M3), Kelenföld Vasútállomás (M4).

The stop where you need to get off is called Mészáros utca.

From Népliget bus station, please take the tram line 1 to Kelenföld Vasútállomás, then change. The stop of the 8E bus can be found on the other side of the subway (follow the Őrmező signs).

From Nyugati Pályaudvar take metro M3 in direction of Nagyvárad tér, and get off at Ferenciek tere, then change to 8E.

If you're coming by plane, you'll have to take the bus line 100E (it cost 900 HUF) to Kálvin tér metro station. From there, you'll have to take the metro line M4 to Kelenföld vasútállomás, then take the bus line 8E from the Őrmező side of the station.

Attention! Due to metro construction works the metro M3 is replaced by buses at the weekends!
